Edgewell Announces Second Fiscal Quarter Results

Feminine Care sales up 34.9%

Edgewell Personal Care’s net sales were $598.4 million in the second fiscal quarter of 2023, an increase of 9.3%, including an $11.8 million unfavorable impact from currency movements.  Organic net sales increased 11.4%, with growth in all segments and major geographic regions, as international markets increased 13.2 % and North America markets increased 10.5%.  In aggregate, growth in organic net sales was driven largely in equal parts by increased pricing and volumes.

In the Feminine Care category, net sales increased $20.7 million, or 34.9%.  Organic net sales increased 35.4%, reflecting a healthier category, higher pricing and improved product availability.  Segment profit increased $10.1 million. Organic segment profit increased $10.4 million, driven by higher organic net sales and gross profit.
